• Positive:

  "Studying" is a continuous action that will be in progress next week.
   
• negative:

  "Playing" is a continuous action that will not be in progress this afternoon.
   
• question:
  Will you be going to the cinema this weekend?
  "Going to the cinema" is a continuous action which might be in progress this weekend.
